Vienna Elite will be fielding a team of (11 or 12)* highly skilled U15 players.  Our program is expected to be one of the most rigorous training programs in the Region.  The team is expected to be a competitive "OPEN" level team which will compete in selected multi-day tournaments and local CHRVA tournaments (Refer to tentative schedule below).

The U15 team is expected to practice twice per week.   During the training months of November and December as well as on non-tournament weekends from January thru May, the Club may also hold "Academy" which will focus on specific skills (i.e. serving, passing, setting, team defense etc).  Academy will be run by special instructors or by Vienna Elite coaches.

Our club strives to be the best club in Northern Virginia when considering competitiveness of teams, level of coaching, club fees, number of tournaments and overall access to court time. Our players love to play volleyball and want to compete at a high level!

* At the discretion of the club 1 or 2 "practice players" will be considered depending on the circumstances of the team.  Practice players will not participate in any matches or tournaments unless specifically called upon by the Head Coach. 

Theodore “Ted” Jones (Gold Medal Squared, USAV IMPACT, Safe Sport Certified) is beginning his second year with Vienna Elite after serving as assistant coach last season on Vienna Elites top U16 Team under one of Vienna Elite’s legendary coaches. Currently Ted is the Head Coach at South County High School for their Freshman Volleyball team. Ted is no stranger to Club Volleyball as he has been involved with Club Volleyball in the Chesapeake Region for over 10 years as a parent as his two daughters participated with various Clubs.  His youngest daughter enjoyed 4 successful Club Seasons with Vienna Elite Volleyball Club.

Ted has a wealth of experience working in youth Sports as he has previously served as Coach and also League Director for a local Youth Sports League as his children matriculated through various sports.  Coach Ted believes in practice makes perfect and likes to see his players work extremely hard during practice for game preparation, not just winning on the court but winning in life! Dwayne Leonard (USAV IMPACT Certified) was born and raised in Lorton Virginia and has been a multi-sport athlete his whole life. His love for volleyball started when his older sister began playing for their high school team in 2008 and he has been an avid volleyball watcher of both collegiate and international play ever since. From playing football, to captaining his high school track and field team his senior year, and competing collegiately at Christopher Newport University, Dwayne has had lots of experience leading and being part of a team. Dwayne has been playing in A-level FXA men’s and co-ed volleyball league and open gyms the past 3 years.
