Vienna Elite will be fielding a team of (10 to 11)* highly skilled U12 players. Tryouts will be open to any players who qualify by age.  The team will be selected based purely on the level of talent and ability. Our U12 program is expected to be one of the most rigorous training programs in the Region. The team is expected to be a competitive "OPEN" level team which will compete in CHRVA tournaments as well as selected multi-day tournaments. (Refer to tentative schedule)  Towards the end of the season, the team will also compete in selected U13 tournaments as Vienna Elite 13-2 (after Regionals in April).

In addition to the posted tournament schedule, the U12 team will compete in the Spring Travel League against other club teams in order to increase the game experience for all players including practice players*.

The U12 team is expected to practice twice per week with players encouraged to participate in optional setting, hitting, DS/Libero clinics to be offered by the club, or arrange private lessons with Vienna Elite coaches whenever possible.   During the training months of November and December as well as on non-tournament weekends from January thru May, the Club may hold an "Academy" which will focus on specific skills (i.e. serving, passing, setting, team defense etc). Academy will be run by special instructors or by Vienna Elite coaches.

Our club strives to be the best club in Northern Virginia when considering the competitiveness of teams, level of coaching, club fees, number of tournaments, and overall access to court time. Our players love to play volleyball and want to compete at a high level!

* At the discretion of the club 1 or 2 "practice players" will be considered depending on the circumstances of the team.  Practice players will not participate in any matches or tournaments unless specifically called upon by the Head Coach.  Practice players will participate in the Spring Travel League.

Andrea Bonilla (IMPACT Certified) is in her fourth year with Vienna Elite and is excited to join Coach Drew Williams to asst the U12-Black team.  She graduated from Virginia Tech's Architecture school with a Bachelor's of Science in Interior Design with a double major in French in 2016.  She also received her Master's of Science in Architecture (Interior Design) in 2017 from Virginia Tech. Andrea has most recently coached with Coach Don Hinton who coached Vienna Elite 12's for the past 3 years before he retired.  She also coached at Saint Stephens Saint Agnes School as the assistant coach for the Freshman Volleyball team with Coach Don. She previously played for Coach Don Hinton in 2009-2010 and played various positions, such as Libero, Outside Hitter and DS.  Andrea is very excited for this club season with Coach Drew!  Contact: andrea.bonilla@viennaelite.org

In addition to the above tournaments, the team expects to play in 1 to 2 local one day CHRVA sanctioned tournaments January thru May.  Tournaments will be determined three weeks prior to play date at the discretion of club director.
