Vienna Elite will field a team of ten (11)* highly skilled and motivated U17 players.  The team will consist of experienced club players seeking to participate in more competitive tournaments and who may be interested in being recruited for collegiate level of volleyball.  The team is expected to be a competitive "OPEN" level team which will compete in selected multi-day tournaments to maintain the skills and to prepare for college volleyball.  We are looking for players who are committed to playing in college already or who want to play in competitive tournaments with other like-minded players.  The objective will be to maintain and refine your volleyball skills for college volleyball while having fun doing it.  No stress, no drama, just finishing out your last year of juniors club volleyball playing the sport you love!  

The U18 team is expected to practice twice per week.   During the training months of November and December as well as on non-tournament weekends from January thru May, the Club will also hold "Academy" which will focus on specific skills (i.e. serving, passing, setting, team defense etc).  Academy will be run by special instructors or by Vienna Elite coaches.

Our club strives to be the best club in Northern Virginia when considering competitiveness of teams, level of coaching, club fees, number of tournaments and overall access to court time.  Our players love to play volleyball and want to compete at a high level!

* At the discretion of the club one "practice player" will be considered depending on the circumstances of the team

Josh Park (USAV IMPACT Certified) started playing volleyball at the age of 11 in Northern Virginia. He played during his college years at Moody Bible Institute at the NAIA level. He was a 4-year varsity letter. He played Opposite, Setter, Libero and Outside Hitter. He was the captain for two years. He earned 2nd Team All Conference, 2009 Servant Leadership Award, 2010 MVP for his school. He was then an Assistant Coach for Moody during the 2010-11 Season. He also assisted in team practices at Gordon College in Massachusetts. 

He has played internationally in Nigeria and Scotland playing against top competition. Josh was also a member of the 2014 and 2016 Men's Korean Olympic - D.C. team winning both Bronze and Gold medals as a setter. He is currently the Head Coach of the Varsity team at Trinity Christian School in Fairfax, Va where is also the Director of IT and a teacher. 

Josh has been playing in leagues all across Northern Virginia since 2012. He is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals to advance players with the future goal becoming a NCAA athlete. In addition to the above tournaments, the team expects to play in 1 to 2 local one day CHRVA sanctioned tournaments January thru May.  Tournaments will be determined three weeks prior to play date at the discretion of club director.
