U16 BLACK TEAM VISION
Vienna Elite will be fielding a team of (11 or 12)* skilled U16 players. Our program is expected to be one of the most rigorous training programs in the Region. The team is expected to be a competitive team that will compete in selected multi-day tournaments and AAU and CHRVA tournaments (Refer to the tentative schedule below).
The U16 team is expected to practice twice per week. Practices will be preceded by 45 minute fitness/conditioning before practice on Wednesdays (starting 11/12 - ending 3/25).
During the training months of November and December, as well as on non-tournament weekends from January through May, the Club may also hold "Academy," which will focus on specific skills (i.e., serving, passing, setting, team defense, etc).
* At the discretion of the club, 1 or 2 "practice players" will be considered depending on the circumstances of the team. Practice players will not participate in any matches or tournaments unless specifically called upon by the Head Coach.
U16 Black Team Fees - $6,000
COACHES
RYAN COSLOVE - HEAD COACH

Ryan Coslove (USAV IMPACT-certified) is originally from Cinnaminson, New Jersey. He began his volleyball career over 11 years ago as a freshman in high school, where he quickly became the starting setter for the JV team. For the next three years, he served as the starting setter for his school’s Varsity team - earning West Jersey Interscholastic Volleyball League 2018 All-Conference 2nd-Team, 2017 and 2018 New Jersey All-Star selections, and his high school's Coach's Award.
Ryan also played as a setter and libero for his former club team, Quandomania, where he trained under AVP Rookie of the Year Eric Zaun (R.I.P.). In addition to indoor volleyball, he competed in his club's beach volleyball program and participated in doubles sand volleyball tournaments across New Jersey.
Ryan graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. While in college, Ryan played intramural volleyball and attended open gyms with the Rutgers club volleyball teams.
Ryan has been coaching at Vienna Elite since 2023. Ryan was the Head Coach for the 17 (Blue) team in the 2023 through 2025 seasons. After moving to Northern Virginia in October 2022 for work, he became the head coach of Dynamix Volleyball's 16 National team. During his senior year of college (2021-2022), he coached for Central Jersey Heat, where he was the head coach of a developmental 15U team and co-coached advanced 16U teams.
As a coach, Ryan emphasizes encouragement, support, and fun while challenging athletes to push beyond their comfort zones in order to maximize both individual skills and team performance. (Contact: ryan.coslove@viennaelite.org)
