U15 TRAVEL TEAM VISION
Vienna Elite will be fielding a team of 10-11* highly skilled U15 players. The U15 Travel Team will be our top-level team at this age. Our program is expected to be one of the most rigorous training programs in the Region. The team is expected to be a competitive team that will compete in selected multi-day tournaments in the "Open" division and several local CHRVA tournaments.
U15 Travel Team will compete in AAU Nationals in Orlando in June as part of its tournament schedule. If a bid is earned for USAV Nationals, priority will be given to USAV Nationals.
The U15 Travel Team is expected to practice twice (Tue/Thur) each week, with additional third days of practices/training sessions on Wednesdays throughout the season. Training will be more heavily weighted during the earlier months of the season. Practices will be followed by 45 minute fitness/conditioning after practice on Thursdays (starting 11/13 - ending 3/26).
On non-tournament weekends from January through May, the Club may also elect to hold "Academy," which will focus on specific skills (i.e., serving, passing, setting, team defense, etc.).
Our club strives to be the best club in Northern Virginia when considering the competitiveness of teams, the level of coaching, the club fees, the number of tournaments, and overall access to court time. Our players love to play volleyball and want to compete at a high level!
* At the discretion of the club, 1 or 2 "practice players" will be considered depending on the circumstances of the team. Practice players will not participate in any matches or tournaments unless specifically called upon by the Head Coach.

COACHES
ANDREW HICKS - HEAD COACH
Andrew Hicks (USAV IMPACT Certified) returns to Vienna Elite Volleyball Club for his second season. Last season, he was the assistant coach for U14 Blue. This season, he returns as the Head Coach of the U15 Travel Team!
Coach Andrew has been playing volleyball for 15 years. Andrew also played for a club team in the Ohio Valley Region and qualified for nationals each year. During his Junior and Senior years, Andrew was a nationally ranked player via MaxPreps and made his all-District, Region, and State teams.
Andrew is also an Army veteran. During his time in the reserves, he qualified for the All-Army Men's Volleyball team and spent one year playing for that team as a six-rotation outside hitter. During that time, he also attended Penn State University and participated in club volleyball for the university.
This year, Coach Andrew was also the assistant JV coach for Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, VA.

AMANDA GORE - ASSISTANT COACH
Amanda Gore (USAV IMPACT certified) - Vienna Elite is proud to welcome Amanda Gore back to the club—this time as the Assistant Coach for the U15s! Amanda played for Vienna Elite from U13 through U18, and now returns to help guide the next generation of athletes with the same passion and dedication she brought as a player.
Amanda continued her volleyball career at Susquehanna University, where she played as a middle blocker and served as team captain for 3.5 years. Her leadership and performance earned her All-Landmark Conference honors in both her junior and senior seasons. She helped lead Susquehanna to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16, and finished her collegiate career ranked 5th in assisted blocks (260) and 6th in total blocks (306) in program history.
Amanda’s coaching philosophy centers on fundamentals, communication, and building a strong team culture. With her unique perspective as both a former player and now a coach, Amanda is committed to helping the next generation of Vienna Elite athletes grow, compete, and thrive.
